Jean P. Wynn

Jean P. Wynn is a Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer for the President of BNY Mellon. In this role she provides oversight to a variety of companywide initiatives in the areas of organizational development, sales effectiveness and employee engagement. Jean also manages the support team for our Senior Client Executives in Global Client Management.  Additionally she leads BNY Mellon’s Global Innovation program.  

Jean joined BNY Mellon in 1980 as a management trainee and has had a variety of business development and management roles within the company’s international banking sector, covering clients in Asia Pacific and Europe.  This included serving on the International Risk Management Committee. Jean also managed a group within Global Client Management responsible for the relationship management and enterprise-wide business development with the US offices of European and Asia Pacific financial institutions.  She also led the Global Account Management and Structured (MBS, ABS & CDO) Sales teams within our Corporate Trust division. Prior to her appointment as Chief Administrative Officer for the President of BNY Mellon, she served in the same role for BNY Mellon’s Financial Markets & Treasury Services Sector.

Jean is a member of the company’s Operating Committee and Enterprise Product Management Group. She also serves as co-chair of BNY Mellon’s Women’s Initiatives Network (WIN) and is a co-founder of the Women’s Wall Street Alliance. She is Vice President of the Alumni Board of Marymount College and a member of the President’s Council at Fordham University.

Born on Long Island, New York, Jean lived in Tokyo for four years of her childhood at which time she attended the Sacred Heart International School in Hiroo. She graduated summa cum laude from Marymount College (now Fordham University) in Tarrytown, New York.  She resides in Huntington, Long Island with her husband and daughter.
