Alicia Sundberg

Alicia Sundberg is Head of Fidelity Real Estate Company (FREC), a unit of Fidelity Investments, a diversified financial services firm that makes financial expertise broadly accessible to people investing their life savings, businesses managing their employee benefits and advisors investing their clients’ money.

Ms. Sundberg leads the organization responsible for providing the full range of corporate real estate strategy and services to Fidelity’s business units both nationally and internationally. She oversees a portfolio of 11 million square feet including mission-critical data centers and more than 190 retail Investor Centers. She oversees daily infrastructure operations, data center operations, relationship management, project design and delivery, the art curator, finance, vendor/risk management, strategic planning, and program management. The team has a vision to provide the places and create the spaces that encourages associate, business and customers to thrive.

Before being appointed Head of FREC in March 2016, Ms. Sundberg led the Domestic Operations and Strategic Solutions Division at Fidelity Investments. Her division was responsible creating the operations and service center of the future. It included the strategic continuum from actually processing back office operations in Domestic Settlements, Stock Loan, Buy-ins, and Security Master/Pricing, while piloting new technology and new ways of working through managing the FI product, operations and service investment portfolio, and developing the operations and service strategy and model organization.

Ms. Sundberg has been with Fidelity for over 20 years and held several other roles including Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, Vice President of Client Service and Support and Vice President of Finance for Operations and Service Group. All of her roles focused on helping Fidelity deliver the best client experience in the industry.

She also sits on the advisory board of Fidelity’s Women’s Networking Group and the governance board for the Wall Street Women’s Alliance (WSWA).

Prior to joining Fidelity, Ms. Sundberg provided strategy and financial decision making at Citibank and Bank Leumi.  Ms. Sundberg holds an MBA in International Finance from Hofstra University and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University, with a double major in Finance and International Business. As part of the Fidelity broker dealer, she held her 7, 24, and 27 licenses.
